Knit a lovely lace sweater for the spring and summer! This sweater is knit in pieces, blocked, and then seamed. It uses three different sizes of the same lace pattern: The large lace pattern is worked at the bottom of the front to create a wavy hem. The medium lace pattern is worked in the middle of the front and back. The small lace pattern is worked on the sleeves. In the first session we’ll discuss sizing and how to read the lace pattern, and you’ll get started knitting the first piece. In the second session, we’ll meet to check on everyone’s progress, knit together, and discuss blocking. In the last session, we’ll talk about seaming and start seaming your sweater together. In between sessions, participants are welcome and encouraged to be in touch with the instructor with questions. This class is perfect for intermediate knitters who want to expand their skill set, add lace into their stitch repertoire, and knit a garment.
Please bring: A copy of the pattern (https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/agave-12); appropriate yarn, needles, and notions; your blocked gauge swatch.
